Dear
Devotees,
On Wednesday, January
30, 2008, Mother Saudamani, a dear disciple of Srila
Prabhupada, went through her surgery for breast cancer.
We just heard that the operation went extremely well.
They did not find any metastases (spreading of the
cancer) anywhere in her body. She is feeling some
discomfort from the operation which is to be expected,
but has been given pain medication and other medicines
for additional uncomfortable symptoms.
We have faith that your
sincere prayers were heard by Lord Krsna. We want to
thank you again and again for keeping her in your
thoughts and prayers so we can have such a wonderful
devotee in our movement for years to come. Saudamani
Prabhu is an inspiration to all of us. She has given
almost her entire life in service to Srila Prabhupada
and to her husband, HG Ravindra Svarup Prabhu,
initiating Guru and GBC. We are blessed to have her
association. Please continue to pray she has a quick
recovery and that she remains strong and healthy from
now on. Thank you again for your compassion and care.

Dear Devotees,

I
would like to thank all of the devotees who took the
time to send in prayers for me after I was recently
diagnosed with cancer. Your prayers made me feel so
cared about. It is true that the Prayer Partner Program
from V-CARE really does make us feel like an
extended spiritual family of devotees. I thank you with
all my heart for your compassion, kind thoughts, and
good wishes. My surgery went well and although I will
now need continued treatment, I feel that it was the
prayers of the devotees and the mercy of the Lord and
Srila Prabhupada that protected me.

The very first time I heard of you was from HH Giriraj
Maharaj in a SB
class in Houston, where he was glorifying you for your
sacrifice and
dedication to Srila Prabhupada and your support to HG
Ravindra Swarupa
Prabhu in his service to Srila Prabhupada. It was
awe-inspiring to hear
Guru Maharaj glorify you and then later by his mercy to
meet you in person
a few times when I was close to Philly for some time.
How can I pray for
anything to Lord for such a dear servant of HIS whom HE
will be personally
carrying through everything in life, still I must for my
purification. May
the Lord give you all the strength and courage to endure
all that He
personally is arranging for you and may you continue to
kindly guide us
and inspire us.

who is facing
health problems at this time. Help her to always

trial time, keeping Your soft lotus feet in her heart
and Your holy names
in her memory.
I pray for her and her husband, Ravindra Svarupa prabhu,
and their family.
They all have done so much service and austerities for
the Sankirtan
movement of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON society.
