Subject: Prayer Request for Linda
Dear Devotees
and Friends,
Please accept my
humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I am humbly asking
each of you to kindly pray to our dear Lord Krsna
for my middle sister, Linda, and her family, who are
faced with the challenge of her cancer returning,
after 13 years of remission.
If it is Krsna's
desire, please allow her to get well and strong so
that her 90 year old mother, two sisters, her
husband, five children, three son/daughter
in-laws, her three grandchildren, her relatives and
friends may continue to share in the unconditional
loving service and exchanges that Linda so
graciously and selflessly delivers and participates
in. Linda served as a nurse in the army and now
continues to serve as a registered nurse in the
community.
She first faced
breast cancer 13 years ago. And for whatever reason,
is now facing this great test once again...with her
family and friends beside her.
Linda is a strong and
spiritual person. I know our dear Lord is hearing
her and our prayers. I know this is an opportunity
for all of us to reevaluate our lives, relationships
and faith in God and his many gifts.
So, please join us in
our prayers so that if it is our Lord's desire, that
He will allow Linda to remain in this world for many
years to come. We pray that you will provide the
strength for all of us remain steadfast in our
prayers and faith...that "God is greater than this
illness" and the He knows best. So, whatever is His
desire, let His will be done. Hare Krsna!

I am praying that
again your will be helped by the strength of prayer,
that you will find the courage at again facing this
illness. May the Lord Bless you and keep you strong in
mind and heart so that you may overcome this battle. May
your loved ones also find the courage to help you in
this moment. I hope that by chanting the holy names you
will find great internal strength for whatever is in
your life and for your whole future. With love may your
life be filled with wonderful meaning and with eternal
happiness.

Linda is the sister of
a wonderful devotee, Mother Janice, who lives here
in Philadelphia (U.S.) where I attend the temple. I have
never met Linda,
but I know Janice very well. She is a sensitive and
sincere devotee who
tries very hard to please Srila Prabhupada.
I am praying at Your lotus feet to kindly help Linda to
have the spiritual
strength to accept whatever You, our dear Lord, wants
for her. Please give
strength to her entire family as well. I pray that

will find a way to chant Your holy names so she can
