Subject: Prayer Request for Lalitamrita devi dasi
 

Dear Prabhus,

We are begging you to kindly pray to the Lord to protect Her Grace Lalitamrita devi dasi, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and Satsvarupa Maharaja. She is terminally ill in Gita Nagari farm and is being cared for by Kaulini dasi and Sangita devi dasi and others. She is at the end stage but is conscious for now. She is in great spirits and feeling protected and blessed by being in the holy dhama of Gita Nagari.
 
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She has done so much book distribution for Srila Prabhupada and typing for Satsvarupa Maharaja over the years. Her wonderful husband, Gandiva, is by her side and giving her great encourgement. Please pray for him to receive great spiritual prayers during this difficult time. Please Srila Prabhupada, keep her forever at your lotus feet.

November 4, 2007

Dear Prabhus,

One of Srila Prabhupada's dear disciples, Lalitamrita devi dasi, departed from this world this morning (Nov 4, 2007) at 10:45 am EST.  Her passing was most auspicious as she was surrounded by devotees chanting to her. 

Lalitamrita's passing is a bitter sweet occurrence as her family of Vaisnavas are happy to know she is reunited with our Lord and Srila Prabhupada, are now deprived of her wonderful  association. 

Please continue to pray for strength for her family, friends, Godsisters and Godbrothers who will deeply miss her.

Dear Prabhus,

Hare Krsna.

We very much appreciate Deva deva dasi asking for help in Gita Nagari for our special devotee who is terminally ill, Lalitamrta dasi. By Krsna's arrangement, Sangita devi dasi and I are caring for her right now along with Lalitamrta's husband, Gandiva Prabhu, and some of her dear friends from afar and from the community. Accommodations are limited, but if you are interested in helping, kindly call me first before simply just coming to Gita Nagari so I can make proper arrangements and we can see if we are in need of help at that time.

I humbly pray at the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha Madhav to please give
eternal shelter and residence to Their most dear devotee and dearest
disciple of Srila Prabhupada, Lalitamrita Mataji, who left for the spiritual
abode in the most wonderful way. I humbly pray that the Supreme Lord
protect all her near and dear ones who must be missing her association.

I am praying for you, Lalitamrita devi dasi, that you will have complete courage and  spiritual strength to pass this test that one day we will all have to overcome. I pray that you will remember the Lord and his eternal pastimes and that you will have all blessings upon you as you pass this test with the blessings and help of all those around you. May Srila Prabhupada bless you eternally, taking you by his side  to serve the Lord.
