for the Terminally ill and Their Family)

aisnavas C.A.R.E., Inc., a non-profit organization, was incorporated in July, 2002 after seeing a need to assist terminally ill Vaisnavas within our Krishna consciousness movement. We are quickly becoming a worldwide network of volunteer devotees, both healthcare professionals as well as laypersons, prepared to assist dying devotees and their families when the need arises in their own communities. These compassionate Vaisnavas span the globe from the United States to Australia to Bombay and to Europe and are helping to fulfill our goal of having trained volunteers in “every town and village” around the world. We are not a “hospice” per se, but do assist those in a hospice/terminal situation.

What Do We Offer?

v    We offer assistance in locating a local hospice program to those in the West.

v    We offer relief for family caregivers so they get the needed rest they deserve.

v    We offer assistance with practical matters, such as childcare, cooking, errands, and more.

v    We offer medical advice, nursing care, emotional counseling, and spiritual support to both patients and families in need.

v    We present seminars to teach the art of hospice care.

v    We offer an online hospice course (free of charge).
