I have just posted the latest update on Chaiti's situation on his Blog along with a beautiful poem by Radhasundari. Please forward the blog info to anyone who may be interested and if anyone has any comments or thoughts please post them as Chaiti will hear or read the all.

Dear Devotees,

We are requesting your prayers for Caitanya Nitai, the son of Advaita Candra dasa (Torchlight Publishing, MVT project, etc.). and Radhasundari dasi Caitanya, age 20, who was a student in Mayapur and lived there for four years, was seriously injured on January 14th when he fell SIX stories from a building in the holy dhama. He miraculously survived the fall and was taken to a local hospital and then to the intensive care unit at a major hospital in Kolkata. He was diagnosed with badly broken ankles and wrists, but apart from that and a small crack in his pelvis bone there were no other injuries. This is actually quite extraordinary considering the extent of the accident.

Caitanya was operated on his ankles which were found to be severely damaged. Many pins and plates were put in to hold the many broken bones together. Then surgery was done on his wrists and several plates and pins were placed to stablize his wrists and hands.

Advaita Candra Prabhu wrote, "By the grace of Krishna and the continued love and light pouring into our hearts and surrounding us from all of you in all corners of the globe, we feel we are truly witnessing a miracle."

Please submit your prayers for Caitanya and his entire family who are experiencing the effects of such a tremendous accident. We pray for a quick recovery for Caitanya and solace for the entire family.

Praying for the well being of Caitanya Nitai dasa who some how with the
mercy of Sri KRSNA remained alive. I pray that His KC will be
reinforced even More by this seemingly tragic accident, and I pray that he
will be OK and that his preaching will increase. May the mercy of Srila
Prabhupada always be with you eternally..

Please cast Your divine shower of mercy to Caitanya Nitai, who is in a
very difficult situation after an accident. Please help him to have a
speedy recovery to his full health and help him to endure the difficulties
he is facing at the moment. You are most merciful, and he is named after
You. Please, please help this boy so he can serve You with his young
energy and qualities. Gaura Purnima is coming up in a week, and the most
auspicious day of the year. Please, shower the rain of mercy on Caitanya
Nitai and his family.
