Subject: Prayer Request for Arne, Father of Annapurna devi dasi
 

Dear Compassionate Devotees,

We are humbly asking that you please prayer for the father of one of our VCARE members, Annapurna devi dasi. Her father just passed away suddenly from a major stroke. His name was Arne and he lived on a farm in Sweden with his loving wife of 60 years. He is survived by his wife, and three adult children--Annapurna, another daughter and one son. Annapurna will visit Sweden, her homeland, for a few weeks to give comfort and Krsna conscious realizations to the family.
 
Please pray for her father's soul and for the remaining family who are feeling so much loss. Annapurna devi is such a wonderful devotee that she is taking shelter of the philosophy of Krsna consciousness which is giving her great comfort and relief at this time. Her family, however, need your blessings to understand the temporary grief they are experiencing. They are so fortunate to have Annapurna as a family member who can help them understand this great philosophy in order to overcome life's misfortunes within this material world. Annapurna thanks you in advance for your prayers, compassion, and blessings to help her give strength to her family at this difficult time.

shelter to the wonderful father of your dearest devotee-Annapurna Mataji
who has served You and Your devotees in so many ways. Please always keep
him fixed in the shelter of Your lotus feet. Please, I humbly request You to
please protect Annapurna Mataji who is seeing Your loving hand behind
everything even in such a difficult situation. Please give solace and
shelter to all the family members so that they continue to take shelter of
Your holy name.

Dearest Annapurna Prabhu,

When you phoned me from Sweden the other day to tell me you were doing
fine, you also told me that the death of your father had given you so many
realizations in your Krsna consciousness. I will not write them all here,
but I will say that Krsna is giving you so much mercy at this time and is
even giving realizations to your mother and siblings, leaving them with the
understanding that everything and everyone in this material world is
temporary. We are gradually working our way out of this world to get a new
start back home, back to Godhead. In this way, when a loved one leaves
here, we are given a sense of peace that all will be well in Krsna's hands.
 
We pray for your continued realizations and peace.

Anapurna devi dasi. He has allowed his daughter to serve You with all her
wonderful talents, inspiring so many devotees worldwide. Please also give
shelter to the remaining family members who are faced with this sudden
loss. I pray that Anapurna devi dasi may give them shelter and comfort by
explaining the philosophy of Krishna consciousness.
